Football, or soccer for our overseas readers, is the most popular sport in the world. Affectionately referred to the ‘Beautiful Game’, football is enjoyed in countries all over the globe. There are, without doubt, some truly amazing football teams now competing in various leagues and tournaments. When it comes to the top 3 teams in the world, however, the vast majority of you reading this would surely agree that FC Barcelona are definitely up there.

Barcelona, along with Real Madrid, are probably considered one of the top 2 teams in Spain, and they have been dominating La Liga, the Champions League, and other tournaments such as the Copa Del Rey, for many, many decades now. As we slowly come close to bringing 2019 to an end, let’s now look at the prospects for Barcelona for 2020 and beyond.

Dec 19, 2019

Real Madrid was clearly the better side on the pitch at the Camp Nou but was unable to make that decisive touch to take home that edge. Barcelona meanwhile played second fiddle, as expected under Valverde.

Barcelona Holds a Resurgent Real Madrid to Draw at Home

FC Barcelona - 0 | Real Madrid - 0

In the end the results barely surprised anyone. This was the first goalless draw in a Clasico in 17 years, and that match was at least more significant. It was the return of the traitor 'Luis Figo' to Camp Nou, a match that will be remembered for the 'Pig Head'!

Sid Lowe suggested that the players could have been distracted by the Protest happening outside and that would have been one of the reasons why the match ended in a stalemate. I don't know about Madrid players, but our players were clearly not distracted, they played exactly the way they are supposed to play under 'The Great Fool' Ernesto Valverde. That's for sure!

Despite all the struggles they faced this season, Barcelona have been quite formidable at home, thanks to one guy named 'Lionel Messi'. Will that be enough for them to trump Real Madrid tonight?

Barcelona Starts as Favourites in the First Clasico of the Season

Real Madrid and Barcelona had more or less a similar kind of season so far. They struggled together, showed glimpses of improving at times, then in the very next match they dashed all those hopes. Valverde's Barcelona lies top of the table courtesy of the goal difference and assisted by Real Madrid with their inconsistency in no less measure.

So When a Barcelona who is being coached by a clueless Valverde and an inconsistent Real Madrid collide tonight at the Camp Nou, everything is up for the grabs. Barcelona would start as a slight favorite due to the home advantage and also having Messi in their ranks. But the game is well balanced due to their defensive fragility!

Barcelona has been handed another Italian test in the UEFA Champions League 2019-20 first knockout stage.

FC Barcelona will be facing Italian side Napoli in the UEFA Champions League 2019-20 first knock-out stage. The draw is considered a favorable one for Barcelona, despite the fact that the Italian side made life difficult for Liverpool already this season. Having the second leg at home is a definite advantage for Barcelona.

The first leg will be played at the Stadio San Paolo on the 26th of February 2020. The second leg will be held at the Camp Nou on the 18th of March.

Under Valverde, Barcelona has become virtually unrecognizable. All that you have associated with the club has been long gone and forgotten! What will be left of the club footballing philosophy when he leaves?

Once again, for the umpteenth time we struggled away from home. Once again we escaped the clutches of defeat and going below Real Madrid in the league table. That was courtesy of their arch-rivals, who failed to take advantage of Barcelona's slip up. They needed a late goal inspired by Courtois to remain salvage a point against Valencia.

Barcelona's 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad came as no surprise. San Sebastian is not an easy stadium for us to visit, it's a bullfight arena for us, and that's been the case when we were playing really well. So we were supposed to struggle at San Sebastian, and struggle we did!

Ernesto Valverde himself may have lost count of the number of times Lionel Messi and Ter Stegan have saved him this season. Valverde might be offering secret prayers to these two; nothing else explains him still having this Job!

So, Barcelona won against Atletico; nothing new there. It was a routine victory. Happened exactly the same way we have faced the majority of the top teams this season, especially away from home. We were second best in practically everything, barring two - having the Best Player in the World and also the Best Goal Keeper in the World.

Some of those saves, Ter Stegan has done were literally mind-blowing. It bordered the thin line between fantasy and reality. And then, Messi! What else you could say? He did what he always does, win Barcelona the match!

As all the pre-ceremony rumours indicated, Lionel Messi picked up his Sixth Ballon D'Or Award at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, France.

Barcelona and Argentinian Captain, Lionel Messi was crowned the 2019 Ballon D'Or Award winner in the Gala Night held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. With this victory, he has moved one ahead of his arch-rival Ronaldo in the number of Ballon d'Or. He has now won a record sixth Ballon D'Or and is the leader of the pack now.

This Ballon D'Or comes after almost four years. His last victory was in 2015, a year Barcelona won the treble. Liverpool's Vin Dijk came second and Cristiano Ronaldo came third (for reasons unknown).

Antoine Griezmann's Barcelona career has never taken off much, despite the early success. There was a genuine lack of understanding between Messi and Griezmann, that has frustrated everyone. But are all of these finally changing for good?

Is Antoine Griezmann for the first time, Starting to Understand his Role in Barcelona?

For Barcelona Fans and team, the most important sight to see last night was the linking up of Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann on the pitch. That was something the fans were desperately waiting for. From the time the club announced the signing of the French, Barcelona fans have been waiting for the 'Messi-Saurez-Griezmann (MSG)' to take off.

From the time Neymar left Barcelona, the fans were waiting for a new trio to take over from the MSN legacy. The MSD, which stands for Messi, Saurez, and Dembele never took off as Dembele couldn't match the expectation nor could he stay fit. The arrival of Griezmann brought the MSG trio, but that remained a pipe dream till last night. Maybe they have found a way out!

Lionel Messi once again produced a master class which secured Barcelona the top spot in their Group of this Season's Champions League Competition. The Argentinian Maestro was at his very best scoring one and assisting the other two.

Barcelona Defeats Borrusia Dortmund 3-1 at the Camp Nou #BarcaBVB #Barca #Messi

Once again for the umpteenth time in his career, Lionel Messi was the difference-maker on a night which could have spelled disaster for Barcelona. Courtesy of the 3-1 victory, Barcelona have managed to qualify to the knock-out stages as the group winner. That has put to rest all our doubts regarding qualification!

The Messi, Saurez, and Griezmann (MSG) combination all got into the scoresheet for the second time this season. It's rather significant, as Griezmann didn't start the game and came in as a substitute for injured Dembele. The most positive factor for Barcelona would the way Griezmanna and Messi were combining and the fact that Messi was looking for the French on the left every time.

FC Barcelona vs Dortmund Video Highlights | FC Barcelona - 3, Borussia Dortmund - 1 #FCBarcelona #Barca

FC Barcelona secured their spot in the knock out phase with a 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund at the Camp Nou. Messi, Suarez, and Griezmann all scored for Barcelona, meanwhile, Jadon Sancho scored for Borussia Dortmund which was nothing other than a consolation goal.

One thing is clear, a lose to Dortmund at Camp Nou would spell the death knell to Valverde's Managerial career. Success will allow him to continue, much to the dismay of the fans!.

All Eyes are on Messi as Barcelona faces Dortmund in a Must-win match

Courtesy of their failure to win at the Camp Nou against the bottom-placed team in the Group, Slavia Prague, Barcelona finds themselves staring at a possible option of not qualifying from the group this season. Tonight Barcelona will be facing the German side, Borrusia Dortmund at the Camp Nou. Anything other than a victory will spell trouble for Barcelona's Champions League ambitions.

Barcelona's next match is at the San Siro against a red hot Inter Milan. A win their is near to impossible with the way the team currently is playing. That means tonight's match is literally a 'Must Win Affair' for Barcelona.

Nov 24, 2019

This match was no different than any of the recent away outings under Valverde, boring, uninspiring and just managing to scrape through; only due to the kind of talents under disposition.

Barca - 2 | Leganes - 1

When mediocrity becomes the way of life, this kind of display becomes an unbelievably satisfying affair, at least for the stupid management we have got. Some may call this an extremely lucky result, but I beg to differ. We should distinguish between the boring display and extremely lucky nights. Lucky ones are those nights when we end up wondering how on earth we are not lost that, and usually we see one man standing there - Ter Stegan.

This was a different feeling. At the end of the match, we simply wonder how we won that. But then this has been a regular feeling with Barcelona lately. It's just we managed to scrape through. In any other season, we would have said such victories win us the league. But then in this season, this has been the standard way of business.

Five Most Impactful Players at FC Barcelona

Més que un club. Barcelona has been one of the most impactful teams in football history. The club has won record-breaking numbers of trophies and has been home to some of the biggest legends the football world has ever seen.

Throughout the years, Barcelona has been dominating LaLiga and the Champions League, thanks to the world-class players and the perfect team harmony. They always had a clear vision of their goals and they always achieve them. So, with that being said, we wanted to give you a small list of some of the players that had a massive impact on the team’s gameplay and its successes. But, before we dive into them, let’s check Barcelona’s odds for 2019/2020.

Nov 13, 2019

It's not a secret that Barcelona is facing a managerial crisis. Day by day, Valverde is proving a misfit and the active rumors are that the club is looking for his replacement.

Who could be the Next Manager of FC Barcelona?

Barcelona fans are getting fed up with Ernesto Valverde on a daily basis. The only reason why the clown even has the job is the little Argentinian wizard, Lionel Messi. If Messi keeps doing stuff like what he has done against Celta Vigo, we may never see an end to the torturous regime of Ernesto Valverde. That's a scary thought in itself!

There is news coming out about Barcelona actively looking for a person to replace Valverde. The board in itself is struggling to decide on the kind of personality. It appears certain Board members are keen on someone who has been with the Club whereas others believe we need someone with not connection to shake the team fully.

Pique was never considered as a legendary defender like his Puyol, but his consistency gave Barcelona stability. But has the time come for the Club to say Goodbye to him? And the reasons may not be purely based on form.

4 Reasons Why Gerard Pique is the Weakest Link?

Gerard Pique has been one of the players who represented Barcelona's Club identity for so long. It's not only the footballing identity but also the Club's larger identity also the Catalan identity. The player has not let go of any opportunities to reiterate any of these identities.

If it's a clash with Real Madrid players in social media or a fight with anti-Catalan activist or reiterating the necessity for Calatalunian Independence, Pique is at the forefront in Social Media. Like every other celebrity, he only remains at the forefront in the Internet world only. We haven't seen him participating in any protests!

A Ground which was revered and feared by opponents for long is slowly becoming a hunting grounds for even the lesser opposition. Don't go by the unbeaten record, the general feeling is that once it's broken, there won't be any stopping!

Barcelona Struggles against Slavia Prague at the Camp Nou #Barca #FCBarcelona

Everything has to come to an end, even Barcelona's Home win streak too! Barcelona's 16 match home winning streak came to an end at the hands of Slavia Prague, the unlikely of the opponent. In a match where an uninspiring Barcelona side once again struggled; most of the fans are not worried about the winning streak. They have bigger things to worry about now.

At least this match has put rest to certain doubts we had. The doubt whether we will be able to win Champions League after five years, after missing it twice so close in horrible fashion. That doubt has been put to rest. By this showing forget winning, we should get kicked out at the first knockout stage itself.

FC Barcelona vs Slavia Prague Highlights Video | FC Barcelona -0 , Slavia Prague - 0

FC Barcelona continued with their lackluster performance in Champions League with another poor display this time at the Camp Nou. The current Spanish League leaders struggled to score and had to forego with their 16 match winning streak at the Camp Nou.

Under Valverde Barcelona is outdoing themselves in reaching new lows. Despite all these the Club under the enviable leadership of Bartomeu seems unmoved. Why so? Is there something fishy?

4 Surprising Reasons Why Bartomeu will never Sack Valverde?

Valverde's Barcelona is outdoing themselves with every travel they make outside of Barcelona. Earlier till last season, it was against the top teams outside of Barcelona where we struggled. But now it's just the moment we step out of the camp Nou, we look clueless. The Levante match was no different, we have seen this script being played out time and again this season.

A lot of people expected that Valverde will be sacked following this defeat. That never happened! Instead, he gave us a lecture of how the team will react, about emotions, about this being rare and so on. He could do all these as he has the total backing of Bartomeu, who instead of condemning the team or coach, immediately reiterated the Club's confidence in the manager.

This clearly shows until something extremely disastrous happens, we are stuck with this clown for some time. Some may ask what could be more disastrous than what's going on? I reiterate, 'Something Disastrous for Bartomeu'!

Barca vs Levante Full Match Highlights | Barca - 3, Levante - 1

FC Barcelona lost once again away from home, something which we expect every time we step out of Barcelona. In a span of seven minutes, Barcelona lost a 1-0 first-half lead, to lose 3-1.

I can't say enjoy highlights, but do watch the highlights below:

Barcelona produced another 'Valverde Masterclass' last night against Levante going down 3-1 in a clueless display. This doesn't come as a big surprise, and this display clearly shows that this won't be the last one either!

Barcelona Stoops to New Low under Valverde. And It shows no Sign of Stopping

We may have to define a term called 'Valverde Masterclass' in order to describe what is on display currently at Barcelona. That makes it easy to define rather than writing sentences after sentences. Mention 'Valverde Masterclass' and everyone gets it. That term should by now mean clearly 'Disaster in Defense, and Clueless in Attack'. At least it will make life easier for everyone like us describing this ordeal!

To describe this match is pretty is easy. We have seen this movie again and again under Valverde. The problem this season is the frequency of this show. It's been happening so frequently that we simply couldn't take a moment off. And it shows no sign of stopping. Also, Valverde has no clue in stopping this!

FC Barcelona - 5 | Real Valladolid - 1

Nothing much to say here, Messi came, Messi scored, Messi created, case closed. It's that simple, isn't it? Many Messi fans were worried whether he has fallen far behind in the Goal scoring charts. Now it shows that for Messi no chart is far behind! He created two goals, scored two one of them was an exceptional free-kick and did a lot of other things. Vidal, Saurez, and Lenglet joined Messi on the score sheet to take Barcelona back to the top of the league.

Barcelona fans are quite worried and angry about the poor game being displayed by the Team on a daily basis. But are they equally responsible for this crisis?

Oct 25, 2019

Has the mercurial Barcelona midfielder's time at the club coming to an end? There is a sharp drop in Busquets' performance in the last few seasons and that remains one of the main reasons why the midfield is getting overrun!

Is Sergio Busquets time at Barcelona coming to an End?

Everything comes with an expiry date, regardless of you like or not. That's simply inevitable! That's the ultimate truth. Barcelona fans should know better, a few years back if anyone suggests to us that the team will struggle to maintain possession, we would have laughed at them. But now that's the ground reality!

May be there are other reasons for Barcelona not hoarding all the possession stats; but the core still remains the absence of that wonderful trio - Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets. We still behave as if Xavi and Iniesta are still in the midfield, but the results on the ground show why those tactics won't work anymore.

Oct 24, 2019

Barcelona had to thank their mercurial keeper Ter Stegan for an undeserving victory against Slavia Praha which put Barcelona's qualification to next round a sure certainity.

Ter Stegan's Heroics give Barcelona a Lucky Victory against Slavia Praha

It doesn't come as a surprise anymore. Barcelona's struggles away from home, especially in Europe, are now a regular thing. Guess we will be literally shocked if we dominate an away game nowadays. Once mediocre becomes a way of life, you tend to accept these kinds of victories. That's why there are idiots calling this victory a tough but important victory.

There should not be any doubt about the quality of Barcelona's display against Slavia Praha last night. It was way below mediocre. We were saved by two moments and a series of saves pulled by Barcelona's Super Man, Ter Stegan. Messi played decently well scoring one and creating another; apart from that everyone else literally was nonsense.

Oct 21, 2019

FC Barcelona moved to the top of the La Liga table with the 3-0 victory over Eibar. The bigger news was the combining of Messi, Saurez, and Griezmann who all scored on the night.

Enjoy the highlights from a very efficient night for Barcelona.

For the first time this season, Barcelona fans got to see what they were waiting for all this time - Messi, Saurez, and Griezmann combining together rather spectacularly. The result also sends Barcelona to top of the League with a one-point lead over Real Madrid.

The wait has been over! For many, they were wondering whether this will happen; but finally, they got to see the spectacular trio of Messi, Saurez, and Griezmann combining together to give Barcelona a vital win that too away from home. The 3-0 victory over Eibar saw all three of Griezmann, Messi, and Saurez scoring in the very given order.

This victory sends Barcelona to the top of the League and with Real Madrid going down at Mallorca later on the night, Barcelona secured their first week in the summit of the table. Maybe a sign of good things to follow once MSG combines.

Oct 17, 2019

Despite the great comeback against Inter Milan, Barcelona should not be fooled and should immediately sack Valverde and get Xavi Hernandez on board. The mercurial midfield genius could be one guy who could bring back what Barcelona is lacking desperately - Identity.

Barcelona Need to replace Valverde with Xavi Now. Otherwise it would be Too Late!

From the time of the reports emerging about Xavi earning his UEFA Pro Coaching License, there has been intense speculation about when he will take charge of Barcelona. There were even suggestions that the Board gave Valverde one more year extension only as a filler buster role, till Xavi is ready to take up the role. In all probability, Xavi would take over Barcelona at the start of next season.

But will it be too late for Barcelona. Under Valverde, we are living with an 'Identity Crisis'. And we need someone who understands, Barcelona's sole to be in charge. That too soon!

Was it Wise for Barcelona to Loan Out Philippe Coutinho?

Philippe Coutinho has rapidly established himself as the best player in the Bundesliga after joining Bayern Munich on loan from Barca. The former Liverpool man struggled to make an impact at Camp Nou following his £142 million move last year.

Barcelona tried to sell him in the summer, but they could not find anyone willing to meet his price tag, so they decided to loan him out to Bayern. Coutinho has rediscovered his very best form at the German club, scoring twice and providing three assists in the early stages of the campaign, and generally dazzling with his brilliance on the ball.

Will Barcelona win the UEFA Champions League or La Liga this season?

FC Barcelona have already had quite the wild ride this season, seeing the lowest of lows before recovering in time for Lionel Messi’s reintroduction after injury. Ernesto Valverde’s earning an extremely polarizing reputation thanks to his questionable tactics, as fans voiced their anger towards him earlier this season. After enduring their worst start to a campaign since 1990, the Blaugrana are back fighting for the La Liga.

Now that they’re sitting just a couple of points behind a Real Madrid side plagued with constant injuries, a challenge for another La Liga title looks more serious Barcelona are currently favourites in La Liga betting odds for the title, and a win against Real Madrid later this month at Camp Nou should really stake their claim.

Sensational Luis Saurez Goals against Inter Milan in GIF Photos

Barcelona was saved by the heroics of Luis Saurez yesternight against Inter Milan. There was danger of Barcelona's exceptional home record being destroyed by the current leaders of Serie A. Luckily for them their star striker was in exceptional form scoring twice, that was as much he scored the last two seasons in Europe.

Enjoy the two absolutely sensational goals from Luis Saurez below:

Barcelona made a brilliant come back against Inter Milan at the Camp Nou courtesy of two goals from Saurez and some inspiring plays involving both Messi and Vidal.

Vidal, Saurez and Messi Inspires a Sensational Barcelona Come Back against Inter

FC Barcelona - 2 | Inter Milan - 1

When all hopes are lost, we desperately pray for some divine intervention. And that's what happened at the Camp Nou last evening. It will still be a mystery how we remained in the match at the end of the first half. Inter Milan deserved to be three or four goals ahead, but they failed to convert. The entire episode came back to haunt them in the second half.

The end result appeared a bit unfair for the visitors, especially considering that they were 'Miles Ahead' of us in the first half. A draw would have been a fair result in that sense considering that we had better of the second half. But then when the balance is so tight, the impact of those world-class players shows and Barcelona had a couple of them in their team.

There is a feeling among many fans that the injury to Lionel Messi could be much worse than what is portrayed. Otherwise why there is so much secrecy around it?

Lionel Messi Rumoured to be Sidelined for Two Months with the Latest Injury? #Barca #Messi

It's strange, Lionel Messi who rarely is out with injury, have failed to complete a single match in this season! He rarely used to miss matches, and now it becoming extremely difficult to be fit for the match. Some see it as a sign of the good things coming to an end!

May be there is a pinch of truth in that. Remember, both Messi and Ronaldo are 32 and 34 respectively. It's been quite fascinating how these two managed to keep them fit so far, but maybe time is taking a toll on both of them.

Check out Highlights from Barca's 2-1 victory over Getafe #Messi #Barca #FCBarcelona

FC Barcelona made a perfect start to 2019 winning their first match of the year away from home against Getafe. Luis Saurez and Lionel Messi scored in a very tight 2-1 victory which places Barca five point clear on the top of the table.

Valverde got all things wrong against Granada from tactics, to formation , to line-up. It's not much of a surprise that he appears clueless, but his biggest three mistakes has to be these.

These 3 Big Mistakes by Barcelona's Valverde against Granada that Cost Them Dearly?

So Barcelona's 2019-20 Season is unraveling at a rapid pace, it seems like the season has already encountered a rapid tailspin. At the moment, we resemble like Arsenal who actually performs so well at home but looks like an average team on the road. May be Gunner fans would feel very agitated! To be honest, they have a point - at least they look brilliant at home.

Barcelona's away form has to be one of the worst among all teams in Europe. I guess we haven't won in the last seven matches away from home. That involves those humiliating losses against Liverpool and Valencia which lost a sure shot Champions League title and a record-breaking sixth Copa del Rey title.

Ernesto Valverde, has been a disaster for Barcelona so far. The back to back titles doesn't hide the fact that he is destroying what used to be Barcelona's playing style slowly but surely!

Will Barcelona's Footballing Identity Survive the Valverde Era? Or will it be History!

The Legend, Johan Cruyff would be turning in his grave seeing what has happened to his beloved club. The possession football, the Total football he instilled in the team with the 'La Masia' youth academy and the Golden Generation of the Club is nowhere to be seen. Valverde's team plays a style which is unrecognizable for many of the fans and most of the legendary players.

Barcelona's identity was based on the 'Total Football'. That's what the kids are drilled down from the moment they step into the academy. That's what we look in for players when we splash huge sum at them. Unfortunately, Valverde is chipping away every trace of that identity from this team. His mission of turning Barcelona into an average La Liga side is very much in progress.

Lionel Messi won the inaugural FIFPro Best Men's player 2019 beating tough competition from Van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo. This was the first individual award he has won since 2015, something he himself has been upset about.

Lionel Messi crowned FIFPro Best Men's Player

Barcelona's Captain was crowned the inaugural FIFPro Best Male player of the World by FIFA last night in an event in Milan. Messi who has been really unlucky to have missed in last few season's was indeed very happy having it won after a long hiatus of four years.

Lionel Messi was nothing short of sensational in last season and the choice of him seems absolutely perfect. With this award, Messi has now won Six FIFA Best player awards, most by any players.

Sep 23, 2019

Valverde appears to have run out of ways he could make this teamwork. He is not capable to solve the defensive crisis nor the offensive ones. He appears totally clueless and with this continuing encouragement of an equally clueless Board, he may finally succeed in destroying Barcelona's football identity for once and for all!

Will Valverde Really be able to Solve Barcelona's Latest Footballing Crisis? #Barca #Messi #ValverdeOUT

It may appear too dramatic to term what's going on in and around the team as a 'Footballing Crisis'. But for those who have been following the team for years, this has been nothing short of a 'Crisis of Identity'. For many, it has become so difficult even to understand the kind of football we are playing. It has no resemblance to what we knew and what we were known for.

Gone are those days of 'Tiki-Taka'! Forget 'tiki-taka', these are the days when we are forced to applause if the team is about to place four or more passes in the attacking third. The immense pressing game in not be seen, in fact, that's what opposition regularly employs against us and we just self-destruct. That's a tale of 'A Taste of Your Own medicine'.

Barcelona's Early season jitters shows that they may be depended on Messi more than ever, especially with the Clown Valverde in Charge!

With Valverde in Charge, Barcelona's Hopes all will Depend on Lionel Messi!

Barcelona's early-season jitter establish one fact - with Valverde in Charge nothing is going to change. This is regardless of the new season's acquisition De Jong and Griezmann. With a loss, victory and a draw in their first three matches, Barcelona is in kind of a semi crisis at the very start of the season. The impact of this quadruple when you consider how we ended last season.

That means from last season end onwards, we have been quite uninspiring in the field and Valverde looks clueless to make any meaningful changes. Despite these, Barcelona is still rated as the top contender to win La Liga this season and the top contender for UEFA Champions League as per the bookmakers (Make sure to enjoy these Sign Up Bonuses). And the only reason for it is 'Lionel Messi'.

Neymar transfer Deal has his a huge roadblock and many wonders whether it's the end?

Neymar - Barcelona Transfer Saga hit Latest Road Block! Will this be Solved?

Barcelona's pursuit to bring back the Brazilian superstar Neymar back to the club has hit the biggest roadblock so far. This deal or expected deal was supposed to hit multiple roadblocks but this latest one looks have the capacity to kill the deal altogether.

Real Madrid's continued stealthy pursuit of Neymar is being said as one of the most important reasons related to the latest issue. It has to be seen whether Barcelona and especially Messi is able to get past this roadblock. Messi's role would be extremely important in solving this.

Barcelona is struggling to raise fund for the acquisition of Neymar. Selling of star players is an option, but then the targetted players themselves are not in line!

Barcelona Looking to Sell Star Players to Fund 150 Million Bid for Neymar

Barcelona transfer pursuit of Neymar has taken strange twits - not sure for Better or Worse. It is being reported from France that PSG has lowered its expectation from 300 Million to 180 Million. Now in the normal sense that would be a good price target for Barcelona. That target falls in Barcelona's initial assessment of 100 Million plus a couple of players.

Hold On! Don't jump the gun. While reducing the target, PSG management has made clear that they want a cash-only deal and no players included. And to make matters worse, they want the entire cash up front and not in installments. Now with all these, Will Neymar make it back to Barcelona?

It's just a matter of days before the French Striker joins Barcelona, and the latest information confimrs it to be done by Saturday

Antoine Griezmann to Complete Signing with Barcelona by Saturday?

Antoine Griezmann signing is becoming a reality by every passing day. The latest information emerging is that the signing would be completed by the end of this week. There has been a lot of rumors regarding this, but looking at what's happening around Barcelona and the French star, this seems pretty authentic.

Griezmann made his intention clear by not joining Atletico Madrid squad for pre-season training. It was clear that the Frenchman is not going to return to Madrid. Now it needs to see how Atletico Madrid will react. They will definitely lodge a complaint against Barcelona for poaching their player. But Barcelona may not be that much worried about that!

It appears for Dani Alves, age is merely a number! The veteran has expressed his wish to return to Barcelona, Should Barcelona let him?

The most talked points from Argentina's 2-0 defeat against Brazil were the horrendous refereeing and the performance of one of the oldest player on the pitch, Dani Alves. Dani started as the right back, may be safe to say as a Right flying back and put on quite a display on the right.

Defensively and Offensively he was top class and reminded everyone of his numerous performances on the right for Barcelona. He has been released by PSG this season, and the performance against Argentina clearly showed that he even at 36, is still quite a catch. He was expressed his wish to come back to Barcelona and this is why Barcelona should let him.

Barcelona will be looking to shrug off the choker tag in Champions League this season. Will Neymar's arrival do the Trick?

Will Neymar's Arrival makes Barcelona the Favourite for Champions League?

Neymar's arrival is more or less certain, it's just a matter of 'When' now! All the news surrounding him suggest that all stakeholders have agreed in principle for his return and it's just the finer details that need to be settled. Neymar's parent's are rumoured to have already started house hunting in Barcelona.

That news more or less confirms the certainty of the deal. The club management and players have earlier itself stated that they will welcome him back with open arms. The sanction of the deal happened the moment Messi made it known to the public that he, Neymar and Saurez have a private WhatsApp group and all keep in touch on a regular basis.

The Argentinian Captain have emphasized that the team is getting back to form, but it's very clear that against Venezuela he may have to take the majority of the workload.

Why Argentina's Hope against Venezuela will depend on Messi's Work Rate? #AllAboutFCB #FCBarcelona

Lionel Messi was very vocal about the performance of his team against Qatar which helped them to proceed to the knockout stage of the Copa America 2019. He emphasized how the actual Copa start from here and it's now a do or die scenario for them.

Exactly like the World Cup, they somehow managed to the next stage and now it needs to be seen whether they can proceed further. In order to do that, Lionel Messi needs to be in his absolute best, especially with his work rate. Let's see why his work rate is more important against Venezuela than his goals.

Another lacklustre performance have started creating doubts about Messi role in the National team. May be the team needs their talismanic captain in a completely different role.

Just like the World Cup last year, Argentina has managed to take their fate in the tournament and placed it in the hands of other teams in the Copa America 2019. Such was the pathetic show which was put up, naturally, people started asking questions about their billing as a top team. Messi and Company still could qualify if they win against Qatar and Paraguay fail to beat Columbia.

It's easier said than done. Columbia may do the favor to Argentina by not going down to Paraguay. But going by tonight's showing, a victory against current Asian Champions Qatar is not a foregone conclusion.

Despite the dissappointing defeat in the opener of Copa America 2019, Argentina still could win the competition, if they get these three simple things right!

3 Things Argentina Should Do to Triumph at the Copa America 2019?

So the knives are already out for Argentina and Lionel Messi. They have been written off by pundits as a genuine title contender after their 2-0 defeat against Colombia. There is no disagreeing about the fact that their Copa America opener didn't go the way they have planned. But to write them off, after what I will describe as a decent, hope-giving performance is way too much.

Some may ask what have I seen to be hopeful about the team. It's a tough question. But if we break the match into parts, we can clearly see how this Argentina team could go all the way. For that, they have to get these three things right.

After the horrible double failure in Champions League and Copa del rey final, everyone expected Barcelona to be very proactive in the market. One cannot deny the fact that there is actions from Barcelona, but is it a focussed and purposeful actions which is being taken?

Barcelona's arch-rival Real Madrid have already made a huge splash in the transfer window. They moved early in order to consolidate the squad, also to quiet down all the discontent in the squad. In contrast, Barcelona has got De Jong, like months ago and that's it! Let's look at the reason why Barcelona might be up for another disappointing transfer season.

Despite the not-so-great way of his tranfer from the club; the Club, Fans and the Player himself is keen on the transfer back to Barcelona.

It was billed as the great betrayal - Neymar's exit from Barcelona. It left the club completely in shatters. I still remember how we felt lifeless for the major part of the season in 2017-18. It was not the highest profile exit from the club, that title will go to Luis Figo. But this left a bit of bitter taste.

What made it so difficult to digest was the way it transpired. After many of teammates, especially Pique re-assuring fans that Neymar won't leave; out of the blue, it happened. The reasons were clear, but still, the way it happened, made it difficult for fans to digest those reasons.
