Every opportunity, it appears for the Board is a hail-mary opportunity to defame Lionel Messi in front of the whole world; and they are not ready to let go of any! So for the last few days, when the majority of the world was busy fighting the Corona scare, Bartomeu and his boys were out in open (through their media stooges) trying to defame the players.

The captain was their prime target! And all those Ronaldo fan-boys and the Messi-haters latched on to purposeful leaked done by the Board to defame Lionel Messi. Lest they forgot, they were dealing with a different Messi. 'A Messi who treats Instagram as a Sword'. And outcome the next Messi Instagram post and all his haters have been put to shame. That includes the current Board!

Barcelona is looking at a loss at the range of around 60 Million if not footballing actions take place anymore this season. Should the Club ask the Players to help a bit?

With all of the footballing world in the suspended state, every club across the Globe is looking at a financial nightmare come next season. The loss of revenue could plunge the generic operation of many clubs into a state of utter desperation. The clubs lying at the lower end of the spectrum could be the worst hit, but the ones on the upper end are also not spared either!

UEFA and FIFA may have to come up with some kind of financial aid packages, at least for the smaller clubs to make sure that they survive. But considering the greed at the top of both the association, these warnings may go unheeded.

For some time there have been reports circulating in media circles about Lionel Messi continuing playing with a thigh injury this season. The manager and the Club have repeatedly brushed aside these rumors. But with every match, a lot of questions are raised regarding these.

Despite all these, he has been assisting or scoring the majority of Barcelona's goals this season. But then that's been the case for some seasons! But then what has changed to suspect that he is playing with some kind of injury.

Football Associations across the Globe may be left with no other choice other than extending the current Season until the end of September. That means we may immediately start the new season, after the conclusion of this one.

With the entire World shifting its focus into fighting the biggest battle on hand - 'The Corona Virus', almost all the Sporting event has been thrown into chaos. For now, the entirety of the Sporting event stands suspended. These are expected to immediately start once the Corona Virus threat subsides. But will it subside?

UEFA has pushed the Euro Competition by an Year giving some more time to salvage this Champions League Season.

UEFA is looking at an unprecedented scenario considering the Champions League season, the prospect of canceling the whole season. In his entire history, UEFA Champions League has never been suspended, but Corno Virus may get that done. As I wrote in my last post, we are looking at the prospect of having the Champions League being played somewhere later in the season, and canceling all other domestic seasons.

UEFA's latest announcement indicates an attempt to save the Champions League season in some fashion. The finals date has been shifted from May to June, June 27th to be precise. That gives a month of extra-time. Even if the crisis ends by that time, UEFA will struggle to complete all the matches by the time of finals!

If La Liga fails to resume this season, Should Barcelona be declared the Champions of La Liga 2019-20 Season? Consistently they were just better, but have they done enough?

La Liga authorities have suspended the League for two weeks following the Corna scare that has gripped the entire European Continent and other countries. As of now, the suspension is only for two weeks, but it's merely common sense to assume that the League will remain suspended for the rest of the season. Corona has become such a scary situation, that we are looking at the possibility of most of the Sporting event suspended indefinitely.

If La Liga doesn't come back this season, who will be declared the Champions. If a Champion needs to be declared, then Barcelona naturally should be the one who is declared. But should La Liga have a Champion this season?

It appears many players are being worried about their future and getting increasingly convinced about their future. Some feel they will be killing their career continuing in Barcelona.

It seems the loss at the Santiago Bernabeu has created more chaos at Barcelona Football club. And many news outlets have been profiting big time from the crisis at Barcelona. News is pouring out daily of everyone against everyone. It's so difficult to filter out the fake ones from the not-so fake ones.

Even if only a fraction of these are true, one can easily understand that there is a division within the squad, especially with the Veterans on the squad and the young ones. The young ones are worried about their future whereas many of the veterans are worried about their resent.

Despite all the stupid criticism leveled against him, one cannot blame Messi for not ever being ready for a fight with Real Madrid. But there was no fight on display at the Santiago Bernabeu. What is the Inside story on this?

If one thing which Lionel Messi is accused of stands the test of time, is his reluctance to put up a fight when things are going not going so well for his team. We have seen these many times him struggling to lift his team, as a Captain should do when the team is showing no spirit for a fight. We never saw his egging his teammates, like Puyol shouting at them and charging at the opposition; that's always been his fault line.

But when it comes to meeting Barcelona's arch-rival Real Madrid, we always see a different Lionel Messi. One who is ready for the fight from word go, one who lifts his team along with his performances. And most importantly, one who will scare his opposition to submission. That Messi was missing on Sunday Night. Why?

Barcelona fans all could cry about all those missed chances, but the bottomline is Real Madrid was the better side and emerged as a deserving winner.

In the end, every Barcelona fans would agree that Real Madrid deserved to be the winner in last night's Clasico. It all came down to who wanted it more and 'Los Blancos' clearly fought for it. Barcelona, on the other hand, did well at times but there was no intensity and hunger. That's criminal at this level.

The match will not cover Setién in great light considering the tactics on display. He kept on making the same mistakes in a week which was dubbed extremely crucial for Barcelona's ambitions. And let's be honest, he bottled it.

Vinicius inspired Real Madrid scored a vital 2-0 victory over Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Spanish League race. This victory puts them a point ahead and hands them a crucial advantage of both teams' end with the same number of points in the end. Barcelona failed to score for the second time running against their arch-rivals.
