Lionel Messi saved Barca from yet another embarrassing loss after coming in as a substitute in the match against Athletic Bilbao.

It amazes everyone how we are still at the top of the La Liga table. But it's actually happening. After producing yet another non-inspiring performances, we still are on the top; courtesy to the fact that both Real Madrid and Atletico played a goalless draw later in the night.

Just take for a moment and try to digest, out of nine points available in the last three matches, we managed to take two points. I don't remember in recent seasons, such a thing happening. And with a Champions League away match in the mid week, there is a high chance of this run extending for a fourth one. Keep you fingers crossed!

And the effect of it becomes much more pronounce, when you consider that they did this in the presence of may be 'Greatest of All Time' player, Lionel Messi.

Barca Suffers Shock Defeat at Leganes | Barca - 1 : Leganes - 2

Barca tasted the first defeat of the season against the most unsuspecting Opponent, bottom placed Leganés. Barca conceded two goals in as much as minutes in the second half to give away a hard earned first half lead.

Barcelona Football Club suffered their first defeat of the season against the lowest placed side in the table, C D Leganés. The result shocked everyone and all of us expected for us to lose the 'Top of the Table' position; but in a strange twist of events, we still maintain the top position courtesy of Sevilla defeating Real Madrid by three goals.

For some reason, this season have started to strike a bit of similarity with Luis Enrique's last season. In that season also, every time the table topping side stumbled, the chasing sides also stumbled. Only change is that the position are reversed; this time it's us stumbling and Real Madrid failing to capitalize.

Barca produced a scrappy comeback from behind win against Real Sociedad and majorly had to thank Ter Stegan for the victory. Valverde's Choices made life difficult for Barca against Soceidad.

This is the second time in succession we have forced to make a come-back from behind against Real Sociedad away from home. Real Madrid was held to a 1-1 draw against Athletic later in the night and that means we are the only team left in the league with a 100% positive result. It's too early in the season but the two point lead this early would be a good cushion to have!

Barca vs Real Soceidad Preview | Barca faces the First Big test of 2018-19 La Liga Season

Barca will be traveling to Anoeta in their first major test. Visit to Anoeta has been a struggle in recent occasions, and there is a high chance that we may be in for the same treatment.

Barcelona Football Club will be visiting Estadio Municipal de Anoeta to face Real Sociedad tomorrow in what will be their first major test of La Liga 2018-19 season. FC Barcelona has been pretty lucky with the run of fixture so far, especially having to face three of the easier teams in the start. Real Sociedad away visit will give a clear picture of the capability of this team and how much the absence of Iniesta is going to affect us this season.

If you consider our record from 2010 onwards, we managed to win at Anoeta only one; that was in last season. Last season we managed to comeback from 2-0 down to win 4-2 against Real Sociedad at their home. That match was extremely even and the difference was the clinical finishing of our players. A similar result will be wonderful for Barca.

Serena Williams may have succeeded in spinning the tantrum she displayed in US Open final into a Woman's Rights Issue. But despite her fans and supporters clamoring, one cannot deny the fact that her conduct in this incident both on the field and off the field has been a disgrace to the 'Great Champion' she actually is!

Serena Williams smartly played the 'Gender' and the 'Mother' card around the issue, and that too immediately. Such a characterization of the issue meant that, those who wanted to speak against her were literally are afraid of being termed a 'Racist'. Which means a host of Greats and Big names in sports have already backed Serena Williams in the entire episode. The Women's Tennis Association and the US Tennis Association both have backed Serena without looking at the merit of the case; one has to wonder what did the referee did wrong in their eyes?
