Barcelona have confirmed the signing of the current FIFA Player of the Year, Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich for 45 Million.

Robert Lewandowski has finally become a Barcelona player, or at least once he completes the medical which is just a formality. This has to be the most high-profile signing Barcelona did in a couple of seasons.

This seriously improves Xavi's attacking arsenal. The Polich maestro guarantees tons of goals even if he may be on his way down. This also improves Barcelona's marketing image, which was lacking a star to pin their campaign on.

The French striker joins his former club in a deal which is currently marked as a loan, but in effect is a transfer as there is an obligatory buy clause in the next summer. Does it indicate Atletci will be letting go of Saurex next summer?

There was a bit of bewilderment when I heard first of the deal involving the loaning out of Griezmann to Atletico Madrid by FC Barcelona. With the mandatory buy clause inserted, this was in effect a transfer camouflaged as a loan deal. But once you take to digest the news, slowly things will start to fall in place.

The biggest concern for me was why Atletic was agreeing to this deal? The fact that we will be strengthening Atletico ( who for the first time in history have become the favourite to retain their La Liga title ) never bothered me. Such is the mess we are in financially. Atletico will be paying his full salary, that's the only thing that mattered.

The Deportivo Leganés' player becomes Barcelona's emergency signing after the Federation gave them the green signal. Fans around the world will be relieved by the fact that we were able to make a signing; that's quite big under this management!

So all rumors have been put to rest. Barcelona has signed Martin Braithwaite after the club decided to use 'a never been used clause' in Spanish Federation as an emergency option. This adds the mercurial talent of Braithwaite into the mix, who going by all indication could replicate what Boateng did in Barcelona. That is absolutely nothing!

A lot of people have been relieved seeing the club sign someone. We assumed that the Club has forgotten to get the deal done. Now, this is a huge relief. Setién could be quite relieved as he has one more player in the squad. At least it will make the numbers.

It appears Barcelona will be finally making Rodrigo their priority signing in the winter market. His signing in all probability will be announced by the end of the day.

FC Barcelona quest for a replacement striker for the injured Luis Saurez appears to have found his logical conclusion with Rodrigo Moreno Machado. He was heavily involved with Barcelona since the opening of the winter transfer window. Once Quique Setién confirmed that he would sign a striker, his name was the most linked one.

In the match between Valencia and Barcelona at the weekend, all the attention was focussed on one person and that's Rodrigo himself. He definitely impressed Barcelona that day.

It's just a matter of days before the French Striker joins Barcelona, and the latest information confimrs it to be done by Saturday

Antoine Griezmann to Complete Signing with Barcelona by Saturday?

Antoine Griezmann signing is becoming a reality by every passing day. The latest information emerging is that the signing would be completed by the end of this week. There has been a lot of rumors regarding this, but looking at what's happening around Barcelona and the French star, this seems pretty authentic.

Griezmann made his intention clear by not joining Atletico Madrid squad for pre-season training. It was clear that the Frenchman is not going to return to Madrid. Now it needs to see how Atletico Madrid will react. They will definitely lodge a complaint against Barcelona for poaching their player. But Barcelona may not be that much worried about that!

Barcelona may have got the prized catch which they were after for some time. Atletico Madrid striker, Antone Griezman is all set to sign for Barcelona soon at a staggering price of 125 Million Euros. Last Summer, Griezmann signed a five year deal with Atletico Madrid with a release clause of 125 Million Euros.

There were speculations then only, why he could join Barcelona next season and the contract extension was done to make sure that Atletico Madrid receives a fair price for the faith they had in him. Barcelona is expected to trigger the release clause.

I did warn you all that this would happen, Despite the repeat of last season's humiliating loss, Valverde has enough backing in the Board, Dressing Room, and Social Media

They all kept quiet for sometime, but then it was natural. If they had dared to even profess their love so soon for Valverde after the 4-0 defeat, they would have been obliterated in social media. So they all waited for that recovery victory against Getfe. And the moment, that is achieved, we now have a flurry of ValverdeStay cry.

I wrote about this two days back, detailing why those hoping for Valverde to leave is living in fool's paradise - Valverde to remain as Barcelona Coach. Sadly I am already being proven right.

The Argentine is expected to leave for China this summer. Everyone was expecting Barca to sign Yerry Mina, but it appears that the club believe Manchester City and Real Madrid could inflate the summer transfer window and the player's price could go up further.

With Barca capturing Philippe Coutinho at a record £142 Million Pounds, the future of many promising Barca youngsters and fringe players are at stake. There could be an exodus of players come this summer inorder to balance the book at FC Barcelona.

5 Barca Youngster who could push for a transfer next summer - AllAboutFCbarcelona.com

With the conclusion of Coutinho deal there is expected to be a substantial number of clear-out at Barca come this summer. There are some senior players along with young players who will be either forced or will prefer to mve out of Camp Nou. Of the senior players Mascherano is expected to move to China as he is very much near the end of his career (then looking at Paulinho situation it may be too early to say), Aleix Vidal is another player who is expected to move out even though I wouldn't be very much surprised if the club decides to retain. He could be still a good squad player, one who could play in multiple role. That may be sometimes under-appreciated, but still would have an heavy impact in keeping the squad fresh for bigger matches.

Here in this article we take a look at the five youngsters of Barca who could be making a move away from Camp Nou as Coutinho arroval seriously threatens their chances:

Amidst all the noises surrounding Coutinho transfer saga, Umtiti rumours should worry Barca most!

Samuel Umtiti has been linked with a host of European Clubs this Winter Transfer window. Barca seems to be preparing a new deal to tie down the Frenchman at Camp Nou

Since the opening of the Winter transfer window, there is only one name in the Barca circles - Philippe Coutinho. All the news in one way or other is linked to the Brazilian and daily there are tons of rumours related to it. Some claim that their news are authentic; but then we saw how trustful they were in the Summer transfer window. Amidst all these noises, some other rumours related to Umtiti is worrying everyone. At first it looked like someone's imaginative thinking but lately it appear to be taking a life on it's own. It actually doesn't make sense, but Barca fans and supporters are like the "A cat bitten once by a snake dreads even rope"; especially after seeing how the Neymar saga evolved rapidly.

Before he moved to one of the world's largest football clubs, French prodigy Ousmane Dembélé was already being hailed as a future Ballon d'Or winner by pundits. Commenting on the young star's early career at Borussia Dortmund, Bleacher Report's Dean Jones not only suggested he'd win the coveted trophy but that he's better than Cristiano Ronaldo was when he was 20. Pointing to his decision making abilities and, importantly, consistency, Jones rated Dembélé as one of the top young prospects in the world and certainly one to watch.

When you make the right decision, it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. Caroline Kennedy

Barca completed the biggest sale in footballing universe when PSG decided to spend 220 million of their Oil money to purchase Neymar's release clause. I still can't get over that amount! 220 Million! Can you believe that? Three seasons back we were rigorously arguing why 100 Million for a footballer in pure nonsense. If that was nonsense, then what is this! God Knows! Only thing I know is we live in a completely screwed up World. Funny part is, now I wonder how much will be Messi be worth if we put him in the market. We better not give any ideas. The management urgently needs to re-look at Messi's release clause of 300 Million. Some idiot may come up with a bid! Now looking at the middle east rivalry between UAE and Qatar, will Manchester City take a shot at 300 Million? Who knows!

With rumours surfacing surrounding the future of Javier Mascherano in recent weeks, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is on the hunt for fresh defensive options this summer. Lyon’s Samuel Umtiti is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Camp Nou, and if may well not be too long until we see the Frenchman’s arrival in Spain. Despite apparent interest from Premier League duo Chelsea and Arsenal, a deal between the Spanish champions and the French side is said to be close to completion.

Barcelona Football Club has announced the much awaited signing of defender Jeremy Mathieu from fellow Spanish Club, Valencia. The transfer of the French national was stuck up for sometime with dispute arising about the final fee and the way in it will be structured. But finally it looks Barca has succumbed to Valencia's demand and agreed to pay €20 Million. Jeremy Mathieu, who has been a pretty known face in La Liga was one of the best performing defender in last season. He usually plays in the left-back role, but did really well when he was shifted to the center back role last season. With this signing FC Barcelona have finally started to take steps to improve the defensive situation associated with the team. We may still need a number of signing as the sword of transfer ban is still hanging on our head.

FC Barcelona has announced that La Masia product Bojan Krkic will be joining English Premier League club Stoke City this coming season. Bojan Krkic is expected to sign a four year deal with the English Club. This will be the start of yet another chapter in his footballing career which has gone sideways more than going forward. After Pep guardiola deemed him surpless, he has tried his luck with Roma, Milan and Ajax. All of them failed miserably. Let's hope at Stoke he is able to get his career back on track.

FC Barcelona signs Luis Saurez

FC Barcelona have announced that the club has reached an agreement with Liverpool for signing Uruguayan striker Luis Saurez. The club will be paying €88 Million for signing the controversial striker, who won't be allowed to play any kind of football till the end of October. FIFA has already rejected Luis Saurez appeal against the sanction which was for biting Italian Chiellini. Barca fans are divided about the signing of the controversial striker, but for the time being the Club has looked to other way about Saurez's controversial on-field behaviour. He will travel to Spain next week for the medical and signing a five year long deal. He will be wearing the number 9 shirt at Barca.

You all may have forgot that we had a player named "Isaac Cuenca". It's easy to forget isn't it? Especially when the player missed the majority of season through injury. Now at least he gets to put his career back in shape at a different team where importantly he would get playing time. Isaac Cuenca has joined Deportivo La Coruna on a free transfer after FC Barcelona decided to cancel his current contract. He has been not in our club's plan for a long time and should have been released last season itself. Even though it was late, the club did the right thing by releasing him for free. All About FC Barcelona wishes Isaac Cuenca all the best for his budding career and let he take the La Liga by Storm once again.
