Barcelona is vary of the potential for an upset as they face Ibiza in Copa del Rey. The one-legged affair where the bigger teams play away from home could present a lot of issues for Setién’s team.

Barcelona Football Club opens its 2019-20 Copa del Rey campaign when they travel to the town of Ibiza to face the Segunda B side. Barcelona would be hoping to make amends in the competition after their disappointing 2-1 loss in the final. That defeat took away the chance to write a Glorious history in the Cup.

Despite the fact that the opponent is a Segunda B side, we have enough to worry about. The new format which is introduced this year allows for one match per round until the competition reaches the final stage. That means one bad day, is enough to get you out of the competition.

What line-up will Setién opt for against Ibiza?

For Barcelona coach Setién, this match would come as a bit of hindrance to his attempt to install his style and plans in Barcelona. Ideally, he would have liked to play this match after he got the team settled. Then you are never granted any wishes! He already has eyes set on the weekend's difficult away fixture over Valencia.

The squad list was announced last evening and it's not a surprise that Messi and Pique have been given rest and Busquets is suspended for this match. Ter Stegen, Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic, Arthur, Neto, Clement Lenglet, Antoine Griezmann, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie De Jong, Arturo Vidal, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Carles Pérez, Riqui Puig, Abel Ruiz, Ansu Fati and Chumi all made the squad.

From the fringe players' perspective this is a great opportunity to impress the coach. They should learn from what Umtiti did with the last match. He was never the regular starter, but he grabbed brilliantly the opportunity given to him and without any doubt may have leaped forward of Lenglet in Setién’s line-up.

Players like Perez, Firpo, Semedo, Arthur who missed quite some action due to injury will be looking to impress the coach. They know very clearly he will allow them to express themselves on the pitch and everyone have a chance with him.

What will be the Starting Line-Up for this match?

I think the only surety is Neto in goal, even though the coach refused to even confirm on that. Every other area, we will have a complete change. What line up will feature itself is a mystery. I will say that we could see a 4-3-3 in action tonight.

Probable Starting Line-up (4-3-3): Neto, Semedo, Lenglet, Chumi, Firpo (4), Arthur, De Jong, Puig (3), Ansu Fati, Abel Ruiz
and Carles Pérez (3).
