Setién's First 5-0 victory at Barcelona would definitely be a sign of things to come. The performance was not as perfect as many hoped, especially the coach. The result shows the impact of it and where it can go from here!

Quique Setién was being absolutely Setien when asked about his feedback about the match. That question in normal circumstances does not make any sense. How will you feel when your team scores five past an opponent? Delighted, usually. At least for everyone else. But not for Setién!

For Setién, as he has explained countless times earlier, feelings matter the most than the result. For him, something was clearly missing in the performance. That's a good sign for fans, to have a Coach who has set a standard and will do everything to make the team there.
Barcelona Started Brilliantly with the Strongest Available Line-up
It was not surprising to anyone who read my Preview of the match to see Setién lining up with his strongest eleven. This is not time to experiment, it is the time to infuse Setién's ideology on the team. But I have to admit that Setién even trumped me with the lineup. I was expecting a couple of players being rested, but this was the best eleven available to him.
Line-Up : Ter Stegan, Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba, Vidal, Busquets, De Jong, Messi, Griezmann and Ansu Fati.
After the defeat against Valencia, the best thing that could happen to Barcelona was an early goal in this match. And that was what happened. The early goal from Griezmann settled the match for us. Then onwards, despite Leganes putting a fight, Barcelona kept on getting the goals at regular intervals.
To be honest, Barcelona wasn't as spectacular as the scoreline suggested. We were solid, showed amazing control but there was an indication that this project is a work in progress. This match gave us enormous hope. If this team, which is playing at 40% of their capacity can do this, wait till they hit 100%!
