Barcelona is reported to have shown interest in Newcastle United keeper Tim Krul as a potential replacement for Pinto. It is expected that Barca would not offer Pinto an extension and he will play his last match against Atletico in Camp Nou. Signing Krul could be tricky as there are a number of clubs who are behind him. Juventus is learned to be watching the keeper closely. If this turns out to be true then we will have a complete overhaul in the goal with Valdes and Pinto leaving. La Masia product and Barca B goal keeper, Jordi Masip is already expected to be promoted to first team next season.
It looks like Barca also have identified Willy Caballero if the transfer of Krul does not take place. The first choice for the team would be Ter Stegan but Barca management is thinking to get a good experienced keepr to help him out especially if the German takes more time to adjust to Barca's style. That is the main reasoin why the management is looking Caballero. But Krul is much younger and may seriously give Ter Stegen a fight for the No.1 spot if it happens.
