From what point this deal to swap Griezmann and Saul brings any benefit to Atletico Madrid is beyond common sense. The only one who needs this deal is FC Barcelona, not Atletico Madrid nor Griezmann. Is this some kind of SCAM/FRAUD?

"With Barcelona, Everything is Possible". That literally ought to be our club's motto. At least we should replace our great motto with this during the transfer window. Deals which makes you head spin with amazement, deal which makes you wonder whether the other party is governed by fools; those are absolute normalcy at Barcelona during a transfer Window.

We had the endless rumours of how we were going to sign Neymar, actually, he always was on a private jet back to Barcelona. Then there was the always present Lautaro Martinez deal. Hopefully, everyone has sweet memories of the done deal to sign Georginio Wijnaldum. Then how many others, I have lost count. The latest entrant is the Griezmann - Saul swap deal between FC Barcelona and Atletico.

This was billed as the moment Barcelona gets back into the La Liga title race by the Catalan media, but alas like we have seen the umpteenth time. They screwed it all. Barcelona may have dominated in all aspects, but then that's a testimony of how bad Cadiz was. This time maybe it's for Good.

Short story first, Atletico Madrid gave Barcelona and Real Madrid a chance to get back into the league title race and as expected the current reigning champions took that with open arms. For the team from Barcelona, they managed to once again shoot themselves on their foot, drawing 1-1- against Cadiz at home.

Barcelona were lethargic, complacent, uninspiring and hurtful to watch yesterday. To be honest, Real Madrid weren't great either, but they most importantly managed to get away with three points after another horrendous performance. They were being just classic 'Real Madrid'.

Barcelona may not have been the better team on the night, but they were clinical in taking their chances to dump Real Madrid out.

Clinical Barcelona makes the most of their Chances to Defeat Real Madrid

Barca - 3 | Real Madrid - 0 - Copa del Rey SF 2nd Leg

Barcelona Football Club booked their sixth consecutive appearance in Copa del Rey final by dumping Real Madrid out in the semi-final. They secured a 3-0 victory at Santiago Bernabeu, a stadium which evokes fear in Europe; but for some reason appears like a training ground for our boys.

Luis Saurez who was much maligned recently regarding his form emerged as the 'Hero of the Match' as he scored twice and played a decisive part in the other one. He along with Dembele scripted the victory for Barcelona, in a match in which they were the second best side for most of the time. This will Barcelona's sixth consecutive appearance in final, and they will be gunning for a record five consecutive titles.

Barca vs Real Madrid Copa Highlights

FC Barcelona won 3-0 away from home at the Santiago Bernabeu to book their place in a fifth consecutive Copa del Rey Final. They will be now chasing a record creating a fifth consecutive title in the final. Luis Saurez once again was the main protagonist at Bernabeu scoring two and playing his part in the other goal, which incidentally was an own goal.

There were some surprises in the squad announced to travel to Madrid for the second leg of Copa del Rey semi-final. Barcelona needs at least a victory or a better than one goal draw to proceed into the final. What is at stake for Barcelona, is the opportunity to win a fifth consecutive title. No team has ever done that in the history of the competition.

Lionel Messi produced a masterclass act scoring his 50th Career hattrick and assisting the other in a hard-fought victory against Sevilla.

MESSI saves BARCELONA with an Out of the World Performance #Barca #Messi #BarcaSevilla

Barca - 4 | Sevilla - 2 ( Messi - 4 | Sevilla - 2 )

In the end, this battle was all about one man, Lionel Messi. And that's a familiar feel for Sevilla fans as they are his favorite opponents. We have lost count of the number of times Lionel Messi has become the tormentor for Sevilla - even at the Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

In reality, Barcelona didn't do much to win this match, apart from having the World's Best Player; or the fifth Best player as per FIFA. Sevilla was the better team throughout the match, especially in the first half. But then Barcelona had Messi and that decided everything!

Why Barcelona should look to move Lionel Messi from the right, and how it could improve their chnaces in Champions League!

3 Reason Why Barcelona should not Use Messi on the Right!

Majority of the fans, who watched the performance against Bilbao are left wondering whether things have actually improved from our last season's Champions League exit? We felt toothless for most of the game. Even though the second half was a better affair, we failed to break down a resolute defense.

And that's the worry for Barcelona as this season was more or less is about Champions League. Athletic Bilbao gave us a clear glimpse of what awaits us at the later stage of the Champions League rounds. And our performance at San Mames doesn't inspire much confidence in that pursuit.

With Antonio Miguel Matéu Lahoz in charge, Barcelona not only have to worry about the Opponents but also a Referee who have purposefully hurt them more than once in the past.

With Mateu Lahoz in Charge, Madrid has a Man Advantage over Barcelona!

The first Clasico of 2019 will be held at the Camp Nou on 6th of February, Wednesday in the First leg of this season's Copa del Rey, semi-final. This will start one of the toughest period for Barca which include three Clasico clashes in 25 days and also matches with Athletic, Valladolid, Lyon, Sevilla in between them.

And that makes it essential to start on the front foot in Wednesday's match so that we can selectively rest our crucial players. The likes of Messi, Alba, Busquets etc. have no replacement in our squad and which means that we need to prioritize matches where these stalwarts need to be taken off or even rested completely. With such a tough run of the fixture, the chances of that appear minimal.

Barcelona vs Sevilla Copa Dely Match Highlights | Barca - 0, Sevilla - 2

Defending Champions FC Barcelona have found themselves at the verge of an early exit from Copa Del Rey after going down 2-0 against Sevilla away from Home. A much-changed side, with many players, rested put out a display which cannot inspire anyone and Sevilla emerged as the deserved winner. The two-goal deficit presents a huge challenge for the team when they meet again in a week's time.

Barcelona was simply at their very best against Eibar and many of us wouldn't have realized that.

3 Reasons Why Barcelona's Victory over Eibar was Absolutely Brilliant #Barca #FCBarcelona

This was not Barcelona at their flamboyant best, nor at their dominative best; but they were absolutely at the efficient best. That simply has to be the honest analysis of Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Eibar at the Camp Nou last night.

Barcelona has played better matches in terms of attack and goal scoring, many this season. But if you ask me to rank this one among them, I would definitely rate this victory as one of the best so far this season. For many, it may appear a far-fetched claim, but when you put the context correctly, you will understand how good we were in this match.

Luis Saurez scored twice and assisted Messi's 400th Goal in la Liga in Barca's 3-0 victory over Eibar.

Luis Saurez scored twice and assisted Messi's 400th Goal in la Liga in Barca's 3-0 victory over Eibar #Barca #FCBarcelona #Messi #Saurez

FC Barcelona - 3 | Eibar - 0

Barcelona football maintained their five point lead on top of the league with a solid and efficient 3-0 victory over Eibar at the Camp Nou. Luis Saurez scored twice and Messi once to keep Barca ahead of the hunting pack, which incidentally has been reduced to Atletico Madrid after Sevilla lost to Athletic Bilbao at San Mames early in the day.

So at exactly the halfway stage, Barcelona has a five-point lead over second placed Atletico and ten points lead over third and fourth-placed Sevilla and Real Madrid respectively. In a season, where a number of teams threatened to upset the usual status-quo, the league has finally turned into a two-horse race. But still, when you consider that only 12 points separate the third-placed team and the just above relegation team, we are sure for a sensational second half of the league.

Full Match Highlights of FC Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Eibar at Camp Nou #FCBarcelona #Barca

FC Barcelona continued their defense of the La Liga title with a very confident 3-0 victory over Eibar at home. Luis Saurez scored twice and assisted the other for Messi in the match. With this Messi has scored 400 goals in the league.

Lionel Messi and Luis Saurez gave Barca a great start to 2019 in terms of results, even though the performance never matched up to their high standards.

FC Barcelona Starts Year 2019 with a Competitive Victory over Getafe #Barca #FCBarcelona #Messi #Saurez

Barca - 2 | Getafe - 1

Scrappy has to be the most apt word which could describe last night's 2-1 victory over Getafe at the Coliseum in Madrid. Despite that, if I decided to describe this as 'Competitive' (as I have described in the Title), there is a solid reason to it. Even such a scrappy victory was elevated due to what happened before the game to all our major competitors in the league.

Barcelona came into the game clearly knowing that a victory over here will send us five points clear of the table. The two major sides, which were capable of mounting a challenge to Barca's title defense - Sevilla and Atletico, drew when they met each other prior to our match. Real Madrid who is already having a horrendous season compounded the pressure on them by losing 2-0 at home to Real Sociedad. Currently, they lie ten points adrift of leaders Barcelona and lies in the fifth position, one point away from Alaves.

Sensational Performance from the Argentinian Maestro, Lionel Messi helped Barca to extract revenge for last season's heart-breaking defeat at Levante

Sensational Lionel Messi destroys Levante with an Out of the World Performance

Lionel Messi answered those idiots who rated him as the fifth best player in the World, like he has always done - ON THE FIELD. The Argentinian, who as per one Brazilian legend is a 'One Thing Guys, who scores only with his Left Foot', ended up scoring a hat-trick and assiting the other two goals in a glorious night for Barcelona. Courtesy of this victory, Barcelona has opened once again a three point lead at the top of the league.

The victory becomes extremely important as in the past two weeks, Messi has shown all the signs of hitting the top form soon. We need him to be in full form before we break for the winter, which will be following next week's matches. Had Saurez not scuffled an easier finish, Messi would have ended the night with three assists and three goals; not sure whether we have seen anyone in the history of the game doing that!
