Barcelona Football Club was at their very best last night against a hapless Getafe hitting them for half a dozen goals at the Camp Nou. With just four matches to go, Barca have their sights firmly set on the League trophy. Even though they have a clash with Atletico Madrid in the penultimate week, we could expect them to get the job done. Of the remaining match the Atletico Match looks tough for our boys. The rest we should be able to easily negotiate. Real Madrid who is currently lying five points behind will be facing Sevilla away from home and Valencia at home and also Espanyol away from home in their last five matches. Unless we screw this up this League trophy is definitely coming to Barcelona. The performance from the team were simply sensational- the pressing, the inter play, the goals all were out of the world. And once more Luis Saurez was the star of the match with two absolutely brilliant finishes.

The game opened in the much expected fashion with Barca in total control. Getafe was much contained in sitting back deep and defend, a strategy some team have successfully employed in recent past. But that strategy was tested by the skill of Barca stars from the very start. It just collapsed once the first goal came courtesy of a Messi penalty after Luis Saurez was brought down in the box. From then on Getafe simply went out of the entire game. They had the occasional chances but at no point it looked like they will score one goal. In the mean time , Barca were scoring at some serious urgency. Luis Saurez double the lead in the 25th minute from a Messi assist. The assist from Messi was brilliant - a floated ball in to the box spotting Saurez's run; the finish was just out of the world and definitely could be a contender for the Goal of the Week award. Neymar was not to be left behind, he added the third after Saurez stealed the ball just outside the box and fed it to Neymar on the left. Now Neymar doesn't score goals, he scores them beautifully - so he cut inside sending the defender sliding on his back side and then beat the keeper on his near side. Xavi added the fourth with a brilliant curling strike from outside the box. Saurez made it 5-0 before going into break with a superb finish after a nice piece of play involving Messi, Neymar, xavi and himself. Soon after the break Messi completed the scoreline with a brilliant finish, one he only could score.
