It's Official - ESPN STAR Sports Will Not Be Telecasting La Liga
Ok, This is one of the most dissappointing moment for a La Liga fan. I did contact Cheryl Long, Manager, Corporate Communications, ESPN STAR Sports regarding the telecast of La Liga this season in India. He has replied confirming the news that they will not be telecasting La Liga this season in India. He also has confirmed that they don't have the rights to show highlights package. Now with ESPN-STAR Sports out of the picture we only have Ten Sports to depend on. I tried to contact them but there is still no reply from their part. I will write to them again and see what they will reply. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Otherwise streaming in Internet is the only option. I do agree that it is a not so great option, but it is better than nothing. Even though I am heavily dissappointed I would like to thank Cheryl Long for replying to my mail as early as he could.

Continuing The Great Start; Getafe-0, Barca-2
FC Barcalona continued with their excellent start to the season with a 2-0 victory away at the Coliseum Alfonso stadium in Getafe. Goals from Ibrahmovic and Messi took Barca to a not so convincing victory against a tough Getafe side. This victory has taken us to the top of the table and we will be looking to hold onto that top spot no matter what. I may not have predicted the scoreline correctly but I did predict that Ibrahmovic will score in this game; so I got some predictions right. This game was not the most beautiful by any means but this victory will mean a lot in the context of the season. We had developed this habit of dropping points after a international break especially away from home in the last couple of seasons. Taking that into consideration this three point will be very valuable. Guardiola decided to rest many of his international stars. Valdes started in the goal. Puyol, Txigrinski , Pique and Abidal formed the defense. As expected Toure partnered with Xavi and Keita in the middle. The front line was a bit of surprise with Pedro and Jeffren partnering Ibrahmovic.
