Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has reportedly given the club a huge boost by letting it be known that he is prepared to commit his long-term future to the club.

Ter Stegen is currently under contract at Camp Nou until the end of the 2021/22 season, and talks over his Barca future had broken down in recent months.

However, reports in the Catalan press suggest Barcelona are in a position to ‘unblock’ contract negotiations with the 28-year-old, and are planning on moving ahead in their bid to try and work out a lengthy and lucrative new deal.

The German League restarting last night was quite a sight for Football fans across the world. They now see the hope at the end of the tunnel.


It was a sight we waited so long to witness, the restarting of Football. Every football fan watched last night's restarting of European Club Football with hope; hope to see their favorite League kick start soon.

It was quite strange to see all those empty stadiums, even the quietest of noise was heard. Football may not look the same without fans cheering, but then this could be the new normal for at least a year.

The 'Game of Throne' episode at Barcelona took a turn for the worst with open rebellion from members of the Board. This was inevitable, but just got delayed!





If you thought that things can't get any worse in Barcelona, then you were given a rude awakening with the latest saga. Yesterday six Barcelona Board members resigned over indifference over the way Bartomeu is handling Club affairs. Emili Rousaud, Enrique Tombas, Silvio Elias, Josep Pont, Maria Teixidor and Jordi Calsamiglia were the members who tendered their resignation.


Ironically this came on the very day when the world held services commemorating the remembrance of the crucifixion of Christ. Bartomeu and his fellow Board members have been crucifying the club's image and the present and indeed the future!
