Griezmann has done precious little to affect the game in Barcelona after his arrival in summer. Does he deserve to be in the starting eleven? Maybe it's just the first season settling issues, Maybe Not!

Has Griezmann Done Enough to Deserve being a regular Starter at Barcelona?

Antoine Griezmann has managed to divide the Cules into two sections with his performance so far this season. There is one section that truly believes that he has been good so far and will get better with every match he plays. And then there is the other that believes he needs to be eased slowly into the team so that he will start learning Barcelona way gradually.

In either case, all fans are united in the belief that Griezmann was the perfect and most suited signing we did last summer. No one doubts his caliber. The only doubt is whether the expectation that he will be a grand success in his first season is fair to the Frenchman or not.

This opens up a five-point lead on top and puts enough pressure on Real Madrid who will be facing Eibar at home tonight.

FC Barcelona vs Real Mallorca Preview

The 2019-20 Spanish La Liga season restarts on Thursday after a three-month lay-off with a trip to RCD Mallorca first on the cards for Barcelona.

Sevilla will host rivals Real Betis on Thursday night in the first game back with all games scheduled to kick off at different times over six weeks which promises to make for a thrilling end, particularly in the current climate.

Barcelona is the final of four games on Saturday when we travel to Mallorca whilst Real Madrid aren’t in action until Sunday evening, hosting Eibar. After such a lengthy disruption fans may want to assess the La Liga predictions ahead of the matches from Thursday.
