The Argentinian Captain have emphasized that the team is getting back to form, but it's very clear that against Venezuela he may have to take the majority of the workload.

Why Argentina's Hope against Venezuela will depend on Messi's Work Rate? #AllAboutFCB #FCBarcelona

Lionel Messi was very vocal about the performance of his team against Qatar which helped them to proceed to the knockout stage of the Copa America 2019. He emphasized how the actual Copa start from here and it's now a do or die scenario for them.

Exactly like the World Cup, they somehow managed to the next stage and now it needs to be seen whether they can proceed further. In order to do that, Lionel Messi needs to be in his absolute best, especially with his work rate. Let's see why his work rate is more important against Venezuela than his goals.

Another lacklustre performance have started creating doubts about Messi role in the National team. May be the team needs their talismanic captain in a completely different role.

Just like the World Cup last year, Argentina has managed to take their fate in the tournament and placed it in the hands of other teams in the Copa America 2019. Such was the pathetic show which was put up, naturally, people started asking questions about their billing as a top team. Messi and Company still could qualify if they win against Qatar and Paraguay fail to beat Columbia.

It's easier said than done. Columbia may do the favor to Argentina by not going down to Paraguay. But going by tonight's showing, a victory against current Asian Champions Qatar is not a foregone conclusion.

Despite the dissappointing defeat in the opener of Copa America 2019, Argentina still could win the competition, if they get these three simple things right!

3 Things Argentina Should Do to Triumph at the Copa America 2019?

So the knives are already out for Argentina and Lionel Messi. They have been written off by pundits as a genuine title contender after their 2-0 defeat against Colombia. There is no disagreeing about the fact that their Copa America opener didn't go the way they have planned. But to write them off, after what I will describe as a decent, hope-giving performance is way too much.

Some may ask what have I seen to be hopeful about the team. It's a tough question. But if we break the match into parts, we can clearly see how this Argentina team could go all the way. For that, they have to get these three things right.
