Yesterday MundoDeportivo broke the story of the contract renewal talks braking down completely. If the latest rumours are to be believed, then Liverpool is very much interested in the player and is even ready for a January summer purchase. Their MD Ian Ayre will reach Barcelona on Thursday to open talks on the possible transfer. If this is true then we will be losing yet another young talent. The worst part is that we have identified him as the future of Barca defense but still couldn't hold on to him.
