The long layoff appears to have not subsided Barcelona's spirit, instead they appeared charged up. Something we were missing in the last few matches!

Barcelona restarted their La Liga campaign off the Corona Virus layoff with a brilliant performance. Considering that almost all players were lacking match fitness, coming to this match, this performance should be considered nothing short of spectacular.
The 4-0 scoreline did perfect justice to Barcelona's effort in the match, that's something we struggled to say even in some of better performances of this season. Vidal, Braithwaite, Alba, and Messi all scored to take vital three away points for Barcelona. This opens up a five-point lead on top and puts enough pressure on Real Madrid who will be facing Eibar at home tonight.
Lionel Messi in thick of Things!
As I wrote earlier, Messi was at the center of everything Barcelona did. He looked much more determined than the time we went to lockdown. He was connecting with Vidal and Alba at will and that was where the danger coming from.
Setién started with an expected line-up. We had the front trio of Braithwaite, Griezman, and Messi. De Jong, Busquets, and Vidal formed the midfield trio. The defense had Alba, Araújo, Pique, and Roberto in front of Ter Stegan.
Setién made a stark change in this match, asking both the full-backs to push forward. And that produced immediate impact, with all the move coming from both flanks. Such a strategy helped Messi to open up both flanks at will.
Vidal and Braithwaite scores to secure Early Advantage in First Half
Barcelona got a perfect start with Vidal scoring with a brilliant header in the 2nd minute. That settled things perfectly for Barcelona and Real Mallorca struggled to get any foothold in the match. Braithwaite doubled the advantage in 37th minute, scoring his first goal for his team.
Braithwaite, Saurez and Messi trio looked quite Spectacular
Once against Griezmann struggled to create the desired impact even though there was no dearth of effort. But the moment Saurez came, we started to see the first glimpse of the BSM (Braithwaite, Saurez, and Messi) trio. That showed great promise. Braithwaite may not become a regular starter, but this showed that he will be quite impactful coming later. In all honestly, one has to admit that the BSM trio looks better than the MSG trio!
As the first match after a sudden and long lockdown break, this match showed serious performances of what this team can achieve. It was evident that most players were playing at 50% of their level due to a lack of match fitness. So things only can improve from here.
