It's Lyon! Barcelona to Face French Side in Champions League.

The Wait is over, it's Olympique Lyonnais whom Barcelona Football Club will face in the first knockout round of Champions League 2018-19 season. Even though Schalke was my preferred opposition, Lyon is not a bad opponent to face at this stage. Barcelona unless screws things seriously, they are highly rated to go through the next round.

Lyon currently lies third in the Ligue 1, almost 13 points adrift of the League leaders PSG. The first leg will be held on the 19th of February in Lyon. Barcelona has the advantage of playing the second leg at home, on the 13th of March.

Important Away Matches awaits an Improved Barca in November

The way October has turned up, surprised everyone! Especially people like myself, who predicted a tough October looking at our September form. But the team surprised us all, winning most of the challenges in October. And they did the most with Messi out and the scary international break in between, sweeten the results much further. If we discard the hiccup against Valencia, the month was near perfect for Barcelona Football Club.

By Barca's Crazy September Form, October Looks Frightening

There will not be a single match which can be deemed as an easy outing for Barca in October. But then we made a hash of things even with our September easy matches!.

Barca Fixtures Preview - October 2018

Looking at the fixture list for October as a Barcelona Football Club fan is quite scary at the present moment. Then on the positive side (it's better to start with something positive, may be the only positive), we only have to play five matches this month. Before rejoicing on that, it's all because of the International break sandwiched between the fixtures.

What comes after that break really sends chills down the spine! Out of the eighteen points available for the month of September, we managed to secure only eleven points. Considering the oppositions we were facing last moth it was a very poor return. Out of the six teams, only two normally used to trouble us.

September will see FC Barcelona starting their UEFA Champiosn League campaign against PSV at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona Football Club has made a great start in terms of result to the busy Barcelona FC September Fixture schedule with the 8-2 trouncing of Huesca at home. This season the paramount focus will be on UEFA Champions League after repeated failures of previous couple of seasons. September Barcelona FC Fixture list sees us starting our Champions league Campaign at Home against PSV. And that will be the Marquee game for September.
