You cannot say it is too early to judge Guardiola while judging him as "not a tactical genius" and "more of a disciplinarian."

Also, no one and I mean NO ONE is a "legend" after one season. Legends are made over time. To hold Guardiola to that standard is unfair.

While you are entitled to your opinion, Barcelona did not, as you suggest, win the Champions League final because of Ferguson blunders.

Your example of Hiddink "out-thinking" Guardiola (which I take to mean 'out-coaching') is nonsense. Parking the bus in front of your own goal on your own pitch is not the move of a tactical genius, but of a coach who believes himself to be out-matched, man for man, by the opposition. Ferguson employed the same tactic in the 2007-08 Champions League semifinal first leg, but at least Fergie had the balls to send his team in search of a goal in the second leg at Old Trafford.

I could go on and on, but I prefer to just state that i respectfully disagree with about 95% of your post.

Though I agree on Pep not being tactical genius. And even though I already wrote an article on that (due to be published) where I share lot of opinions with you. But I believe there is lot of misconceptions governing barcelona fans understanding for Eto'o case. As well as thats of Ibra (price and quality).
